Dear Merchant,

            My name is Chad Anderson and I am the President of the Butler Police Association.  We are hosting the Bates County’s Great American BBQ State Championship and Fall Festival on Sept 7-9.  We would like to invite you to become a Co-Sponsor and help make this family event a success.  We have received word from Governor Matt Blunts office that he is issuing a Proclamation making this a State Championship Cook-off.  This will be a yearly event and we are expecting this event to bring 5 to 10 thousand visitors.

●$100 sponsor will have their name displayed at the festival on the sponsor board.

●$250 sponsor will have their name displayed at the festival and on our website.

●$500 sponsor will have their name displayed at the festival, website and on all the flyers.

●$1000 sponsor will have their name displayed at the festival, website, on all the flyers and on radio advertisements. 

We would extend an invitation to have you and your vendor to have a presence on site.  Being on site would allow you to give away shirts, hats, gift certificates or anything else to promote your business.  Because we are sending our publications to the printing press on or about May 22^nd we would need a reply from you as soon as possible so we can add your name to any print publications if you met that sponsor level. 

This event is our largest fundraiser of the year.  This event helps support the programs in our community.  A few of those programs are Shop with a Cop, Butler Youth Soccer Association, Butler Swim Team, High School Scholarships and Butler DARE Program, purchasing AED’s for places in the community that will have the highest probability for use. 

Some of the Activities that will be at the festival is 100+ crafts, Mini Rod Tractor pull, Horseshoe Tournament, live entertainment at center stage, Pancake Breakfast, Homemade Salsa Contest, Homemade Sausage Contest, Car & Bike Show with 100+ entries and last but not least some of the Greatest BBQ you have ever eaten.  We will have teams travel from across the nation.  We have confirmed at least one National Championship Team and Several State Championship Teams will attend this event.
