We are seeking Queen & Princess Candidates for BBQ Princess & Cook-Off Queen.  All monies raised in this raffle will be used for a set item or service for The Butler Police Department and the citizens of Butler, Missouri.  Butler Police Association is a non-for-profit organization to help kids in the community and any other monies raised will benefit that cause.

Queen and Princess Rules

2010

  1. Candidate must be a resident of Bates County

  1. Candidate must be single, never married

  1. Candidate for Queen must be 16-21 years of age

  1. Candidate for Princess must be 10-15 years of age

  1. Candidate must register at the Butler Police Department by Sept. 15th, 2010 and attend a meeting on a date to be determined.  If Candidate is under the age 17 they must have parent or legal guardian present.

  1. Both Queen and Princess Candidates will be judged by total raffle tickets, armbands and event tickets sold.

  1. Candidates are expected to make as many personal appearances during festival time to sell tickets, promote themselves and the festival.

  1. All Raffle Tickets sales must be turned in by October 30th at 12 o'clock (noon) sharp.  All event tickets shall be turned in by noon the day of the event.

  1. All Candidates shall receive 10% of their own sales from raffle tickets and event tickets.

  1. Crowning Ceremony will be October 30th, 2010 at 4:00 PM at the main stage.  Monetary payouts will be awarded the week after the event is over.
